Position Overview

We Are With You, a collaborative initiative dedicated to supporting individuals facing challenges with substance use and mental health, is seeking a passionate and innovative Regional Marketing and Communications Specialist. This role is pivotal in advancing our marketing and communications strategy within the community.

As a Regional Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in crafting content that aligns with our organizational identity. Your responsibilities will include the development of high-quality, engaging marketing and communication materials such as press releases, brochures, FAQs, blogs, photography, and video content.

You will be tasked with delivering multimedia content, including films, photographs, GIFs, animations, illustrations, and graphics, across all marketing and communications initiatives. Your efforts will be instrumental in enhancing media visibility, boosting engagement on our social media platforms, promoting our services, elevating brand recognition, and connecting with our target audiences. Building and nurturing productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be essential.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role, with a balanced work arrangement between our community service and remote work. The compensation for this position ranges from £25,000 to £27,000 annually.

Key Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in a similar role, possessing the ability to influence key decision-makers and utilize communication tools effectively. A strong understanding of social media, broadcast, print, and online media is essential, along with a keen awareness of current events and issues. Given the dynamic nature of our service, strong organizational skills and effective time management are critical.

A relevant degree or equivalent experience Strong news judgment Insight into influencing decision-makers and utilizing communication tools for effective change Proven ability to gather compelling case studies for marketing and communication purposes Exceptional writing and editing skills A track record of securing media coverage Experience in managing and enhancing engagement across various social media platforms Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously Skills to optimize value from products and tools Proficiency in using data analytics to refine our operations and develop communication channels Experience working under tight deadlines A collaborative mindset The ability to manage competing priorities A commitment to the organization's guiding principles and values
