About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Support Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale grounds maintenance contract across over 600 sites in the West of England. The role will involve managing contracts related to cleaning, window cleaning, and waste removal services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and attend review meetings with contractors and stakeholders
  • Regularly meet with contractors' staff to ensure high-quality services
  • Prepare and scrutinise KPI data and contract performance reports
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is delivered to specification and safety standards
About You

You will bring a combination of expertise in contract management and strong customer service skills to this role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge of amenity horticulture
  • Experience in client-side grounds maintenance contract management
  • Experience managing contracts for cleaning, window cleaning, and waste management services (Desirable)
  • Prior experience in the Housing or Local Authority sector (Desirable)
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and contractor safety compliance
  • High attention to detail, especially in handling data
  • Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Confidence interpreting maps and specifications, with experience using GIS mapping tools
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
  • Flexibility in approach and commitment to continuous improvement
