Claims Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Claims Handler to join our Vehicle Replacement Group team at Davies. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of claims, communicating with parties involved, and gathering information for processing and assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of claims, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely resolution
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and other third parties involved in the claim
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of claim history and progress
- Provide advice to clients on claim status and additional services offered by the business
- Comply with all technical and regulatory processes and procedures
- Previous experience in a busy administration or customer services role
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to organize workload
- Quick learner with a natural ability to understand processes and technical information
- Background in an insurance or credit hire business an advantage
- Good overall ability with technology, including Microsoft Office packages
- Good standard of education
