This is a varied role that will include:

  • Conducting initial role briefings to understand hiring manager needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Directly identifying and engaging high-quality candidates through various channels
  • Screening, interviewing, and shortlisting candidates, keeping all parties informed and engaged throughout the process
  • Providing constructive feedback and building talent pools for future hiring needs
  • Managing the offer process and supporting with onboarding
  • Attending regular recruitment activity update meetings
  • Promoting the Company's reputation and values
  • Undertaking ad-hoc project work, such as delivering recruitment and interview training

This is an ideal opportunity for a recruiter with previous in-house experience looking to develop their skills. You will enjoy working independently and taking ownership of recruitment projects and campaigns from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key requirements include:

  • Good experience in sourcing and attracting candidates using various methods, including job boards and careers fairs
  • Previous experience in blue-collar, industrial, or engineering recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in recruiting apprentices is advantageous
  • Access to a car, as the role is based on a business park and not walkable from the train station

Salary: Up to £39,000

Hybrid working arrangement: 3 days in the office
