Job Title: Bank Director

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bank Director to join our team at Lowell Financial Ltd. As a Bank Director, you will be responsible for governing the end-to-end bank reconciliation process for your designated region within the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Bank Reconciliation Assistants to review bank reconciliations within scope of the role that are regularly performed on all of the Group's bank accounts.
  • Liaise with other teams across finance to ensure end-to-end bank processes are appropriate and integrate any new entities and bank accounts into the process.
  • Manage the Admin/own/office/collection accounts bank reconciliation process for the assigned region within the Group.
  • Support end-to-end process improvement by working with other Bank Reconciliation Managers, Head of Bank Reconciliation External Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Record to Report and other relevant teams to ensure processes are appropriate and effective.
  • Support the Head of Bank Reconciliation in providing a robust and industry-leading reconciliation and control environment, ensuring timely follow-up and remediation work is applied where necessary.
  • Take responsibility for completing the more complex bank reconciliations as defined/agreed with the Head of Bank Reconciliation.
  • Provide support to internal, external, and client audits, ensuring robust audit trails and evidence is maintained.
  • Monitor and report KPIs & SLAs, creating monthly dashboards and providing management information as required.
  • Ensure all accounting and other policies and practices are adhered to, allowing for clear, easy, and simple evidence to all interested third parties.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify risks and ensure a 'no surprise' approach is adopted, highlighting issues and escalating them in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous reconciliation experience is essential.
  • Previous Oracle/ERP experience is desirable.
