Locum Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to support our dynamic therapy team at a premier rehabilitation facility specializing in intensive care for individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
Our center is equipped with 23 Level 2 and 29 Level 1 neurorehabilitation beds, providing a comprehensive environment for patient recovery.Key Responsibilities:
Perform neuropsychological evaluations and cognitive rehabilitation interventions.
Address challenging behaviors using evidence-based methodologies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement tailored rehabilitation strategies.
Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers regarding brain injury.
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with BPS and HCPC standards.
Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service enhancements.
Offer training and guidance to the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.
Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
Experience in brain injury rehabilitation and the design of behavioral programs.
Strong skills in multidisciplinary team collaboration.
Working Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Initial contract duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension to 6 months.
