At XPO Logistics, we are excited to announce an opening for an IT Procurement Administrator to join our dedicated team within the IT division. This role will be on a fixed-term basis.

The position is structured for part-time hours, providing a balanced work schedule. The responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative functions that support the IT department's operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum, pro-rated for 22.5 hours per week. Additionally, you will enjoy 25 days of holiday on a pro-rata basis (plus public holidays). Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT Admin and Asset Manager with various functions including IT PMO, procurement, asset management, audits, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of IT equipment for end users and project implementations.
  • Generate purchase orders for suppliers as necessary, adhering to procurement protocols.
  • Address IT procurement inquiries effectively.
  • Handle payment-related questions.
  • Monitor receipt and expenditure against purchase orders.
  • Resolve cases and tasks from the Service Now platform promptly.
  • Evaluate situations, challenges, and opportunities, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service operations processes for cost and efficiency gains.
  • Support operational priorities and collaborate with other teams within the department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Required: 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement administration.
  • Required: Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical personnel at all organizational levels with professionalism.
  • Required: Experience in working with various stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.
  • Required: Proficient in Excel, including functions such as SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Required: Ability to quickly learn and navigate different systems and portals.
  • Preferred: Capability to interpret and translate business requirements into IT deliverables.
  • Preferred: Experience in teamwork within IT and collaboration with customers and third-party suppliers.
