At XPO Logistics, we are excited to announce an opening for an IT Procurement Administrator to become part of our dynamic team within the IT division. This role will focus on a variety of administrative responsibilities aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our IT operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum on a pro-rata basis for 22.5 hours each week. Additionally, you will receive 25 days of holiday on a pro-rata basis (plus bank holidays). Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT Admin and Asset Manager with IT PMO, procurement, asset management, auditing, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of IT equipment for end users and project implementations.
  • Generate purchase orders for suppliers as necessary, ensuring compliance with procurement protocols.
  • Address IT procurement inquiries.
  • Handle payment-related questions.
  • Monitor receipt and expenditure against purchase orders.
  • Resolve cases and tasks through Service Now promptly.
  • Evaluate situations, challenges, and opportunities, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service operations processes for cost and efficiency gains.
  • Support operational priorities and collaborate with other teams, such as EUC and Implementation, as needed.

Qualifications for Success at XPO:

  • Required: 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement administration.
  • Required: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
  • Required: Experience collaborating with users, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.
  • Required: Proficient in Excel (including SUM IFS, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and pivot tables).
  • Required: Ability to adapt to various systems and portals.
  • Preferred: Capability to interpret and translate user and customer business needs into IT deliverables.
  • Preferred: Experience in teamwork within IT, the broader organization, customers, and third-party suppliers.
