Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Casual Football Coach at East Renfrewshire Council. As a key member of our community sports programme, you will play a vital role in delivering participation and development opportunities for children and young people.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to children and young people, promoting a fun, safe, and educational environment.
  • Develop and implement participation and development opportunities that meet the needs of our community.
  • Work closely with our team to promote sport and physical activity programmes to the wider community.
  • Contribute to the future development of our community sports programme, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for sport.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in coaching or a related field.
