Revenue Manager Job Description

At Mercantile Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Manager to join our team at our brand-new luxury hotel in Dublin 2. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement revenue management operations, procedures, and best practices to optimize occupancy and ADR.
  • Manage revenue projects, new system installations, and implementations.
  • Oversee the reservations team, including recruitment, training, creation of SOPs, coaching, performance management, and appraisals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to inform pricing decisions and develop pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the finance, sales, and marketing teams to create targeted promotions and packages.
  • Prepare and present revenue forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of employees.
  • Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy and manage day-to-day yield operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue management within the hotel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems and property management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
