Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants, supporting with clinical duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our care home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Support with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
- Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, ensuring effective shift handovers and maintaining high standards of care.
- Contribute to the training and supervision of new staff members, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported.
- Build relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assist residents with personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or equivalent role.
- Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a real difference to people's lives.
