Commercial Finance Manager Opportunity

Fintellect Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join our client's brand new commercial finance team in Scotland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building relationships with SMEs, becoming their trusted advisor and funding partner, and helping them with any finance requirements both short-term and long-term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer base, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored financial solutions and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of financial products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities to enhance the business
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably in relationship management or business development within commercial banking or finance
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify deals and restructure lending requirements to help SMEs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a target-driven environment
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to manage own diary
