Autism Specialist Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Mentor to support students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) in their higher education studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to students with ASC, helping them develop coping strategies and techniques to overcome their disability-related difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with students, academic staff, and other support services to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of autism and its impact on students' educational experiences.
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic and supportive community for students with ASC.
- Hold a degree at a minimum and have had comprehensive training in adult autism.
- Have experience of working with students in higher or further education.
- Be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- A competitive hourly rate of £30-£40.
