About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at the National Autistic Society. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic individuals and their families, providing personalized care and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee support packages, reviewing care plans and outcomes for the people we support
  • Support the development of the staff team, conducting supervisions and appraisals, and ensuring staff have access to suitable learning and development opportunities
  • Assist with the smooth running and day-to-day operations of the service

Requirements

  • Experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting
  • Resilient, supportive, and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people
  • Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is Essential
