Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Stockport site. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting routine maintenance and preventative repairs to ensure our manufacturing teams meet their key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and repair mechanical failures
  • Document engineering processes, parts used, and repairs done
  • Log repair time and maintain engineering tools
  • Communicate with manufacturing teams about work time, fault repairs, and downtime
  • Provide excellent customer service through the management of the engineering team
  • Adhere to repair schedules and perform routine maintenance
  • Ensure all work is done to proper risk management procedure standards
  • Support projects in line with business needs
  • Conduct testing on existing systems and new parts
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualification or previous time served
  • Previous mechanical maintenance experience
  • Previous experience working to deadlines or in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using SAP (desirable)
  • Competent IT skills
