Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing site facilities, plant, and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and update documentation as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues as needed
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified mechanical engineer with a Level 3 standard or higher
  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry sector
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
