We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialized clinical psychology services to users of our specialty service, offering expert advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other caregivers.
- Develop and manage highly specialized psychological assessments to inform consultation, diagnosis, and monitoring, and provide highly specialized psychological interventions and treatments for individuals with psychological disorders and general medical conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance the delivery of psychological care across the healthcare system.
- Support and develop teaching packages and pathways to promote the development of psychological skills among other health and non-health professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a BPS-approved postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or a BPS Statement of Equivalence. You will also need to have postgraduate doctoral-level training in clinical/counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, as well as two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology.
Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist is essential for this role. Trainee Clinical Psychologists are not expected to be HCPC registered at the point of application, but they will need to have attained registration before commencing the post.
