We are looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to enhance our Logistics team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Transport Division.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days 06:00 to 18:00
Salary: £26,622 Per Annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the success of the operation by adhering to all Proof of Delivery (POD) and Return processes as outlined in the site policy documents.
- Manage collections for clients and complete necessary documentation.
- Coordinate deliveries for clients.
- Resolve any issues related to collections.
- Ensure all documentation is returned for all client deliveries dispatched from the site, and follow up on outstanding PODs.
- Communicate effectively with personnel at other locations and external partners.
- Handle photocopying, printing, organizing, and storing documents and digital information.
- Oversee the inbound schedule for all clients.
- Monitor the daily clean POD workflow.
- Manage period-end spreadsheets.
- Compile lists of outstanding PODs and reach out to hauliers for updates.
- Report on outstanding PODs daily.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive and flexible attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to convey accurate information.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Proficient in prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.
- Good computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
