About the Role

Cubitts is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Support the store manager in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Store Operations: Collaborate with HQ departments to ensure seamless store operations, including inventory management and asset protection.
  • Team Development: Manage dispensing activities, lead optical learning and progression, and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for Cubitts, educating and exciting others about our mission and values.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate daily focuses to the team, underpinned by our brand values, and explain eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology to patients.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess exceptional product knowledge, explaining features and benefits of lenses and Cubitts frames.
  • Leadership: Lead and train on Cubitts Bespoke services, supported by our marketing-leading technology.
  • Performance Management: Participate in weekly trade calls and monthly meetings, setting focuses and goals, and ensure company procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Alignment: Aligned to and inspired by our Company Brand Values and a genuine passion for spectacles, their design, and history.
  • Experience: 1-2 years management experience with optical, team building, and recruitment experience.
  • Initiative: Show great initiative, positivity, and patience.
  • Communication: An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Organisation: Highly organised, possessing meticulous attention to detail and a keen interest in aesthetics.
