We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our team at Zest Optical. As a leading optical practice, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and providing a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist with dispensing eyewear, including selecting and fitting frames, and providing after-sales care.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of optometrists, opticians, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in optics or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Availability to work towards a Dispensing Optician (DO) qualification.
