About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and ensuring the highest levels of safety and equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team and own the annual reporting responsibilities for the team.
  • Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
  • Implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans and coordinate rehearsals with affected parties.
  • Maintain a long-term focus by working with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience at Amazon.
  • Experience in employee and performance management.
  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field.
  • Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
