Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering team and drive reliability and maintenance excellence within our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are met, providing a safe working environment for all occupants, and delivering high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Engineering team and build a culture of safety and reliability
  • Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met and provide a safe working environment
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to drive equipment reliability
  • Work with the recruitment team to fill allocated headcount with high-quality experienced staff
  • Implement standards validated by the AU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans and coordinate rehearsals with affected parties
  • Work with Site Management, Finance, and internal design teams to plan for future growth and upgrades
Requirements
  • Relevant experience of Engineering team leadership
  • Employee and performance management experience
  • Distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience
  • Facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience/ 2+ years of Amazon experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics
