London, Greater London, United Kingdom UCL Eastman Dental Institute Full time

Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Fellow to contribute to the RELMED initiative, which focuses on deciphering the computational (reinforcement learning) processes involved in various antidepressant therapies.

Your responsibilities will include the development and analysis of reinforcement learning evaluations. This will involve both behavioral assessments and imaging techniques (electroencephalography, EEG) integrated with cutting-edge computational modeling. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Investigator, Professor Quentin Huys, who will provide guidance and oversight, along with Co-Investigators such as Professor Ray Dolan and other team members.

Employment offers will be contingent upon a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This position is available immediately and is funded by Wellcome for an initial period of two years, with the potential for extension, subject to successful funding renewal.

Application Process

To apply, please complete the online application form and submit a recent CV along with a supporting statement that expresses your interest in joining the MPC and clearly demonstrates how you meet the selection criteria outlined in the person specification.

If you require reasonable adjustments or a more accessible format to apply for this position online, or if you have any questions regarding the application process, please reach out to the HR Team.

For informal inquiries about the role, you may contact Professor Quentin Huys.

A comprehensive job description and person specification for this position can be accessed below.

Candidate Profile
