About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. The successful candidate will lead the laboratory work towards the development of a multi-protein seed amplification assay panel for the diagnosis and stratification of patients with dementia.

About the Position

The post holder will be responsible for designing and implementing novel biomarker analysis methods, collaborating with clinicians and other scientists, and disseminating research findings through scientific and lay presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement novel biomarker analysis methods
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other scientists to advance research goals
  • Disseminate research findings through scientific and lay presentations
  • Contribute to the development of a multi-protein seed amplification assay panel

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience with seed amplification methods (e.g. RT-QuIC, PMCA)
  • Experience with biomarker analysis and human samples
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
