Our client operates across diverse sectors including retail, facilities management, local authorities, corporate commercial facilities, hotels and leisure, education, infrastructure, highways, social housing, sports, healthcare, emergency services, Ministry of Defence, and utilities. With a nationwide presence spanning 40 locations, employing over 600 team members, they deliver grounds maintenance services to more than 10,000 sites annually.
As the Franchise Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and growing our client's network of franchisees. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Acting as the primary point of contact between franchise owners and Head Office.
- Ensuring franchisees operate their businesses effectively and adhere to company standards.
- Driving the continued growth and development of the franchise network.
- Collaborating with fellow Franchise Business Development Managers to manage franchisees effectively.
- Analyzing sales processes and financial performance to provide guidance, motivation, and training to franchise owners and their staff.
- Assisting franchisees in preparing for and attending client meetings.
- Delivering in-house training on systems (including CRM) to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Mentoring and training franchisees, supporting field training, developing business plans, identifying growth obstacles, creating bespoke strategies for success, monitoring plan implementation, and providing advice and support when addressing issues.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance and/or landscape services.
- A background as an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager, Business Development Manager, Franchise Business Development Manager, or owner of a Grounds Maintenance company.
- Residency within the Midlands area, specifically Birmingham to Crewe, Nottingham, and Norfolk.
