Accounts Payable Team Leader

Sanctuary Group, a leading provider of housing, care, and commercial services, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join its Finance Shared Services team in Worcester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of 7 and ensure that all invoices are processed in a timely manner, while maintaining high customer service standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, with experience in leading teams and managing high-volume transactional processing functions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Invoice Management team
  • Supporting team members with accurate and timely processing of invoices
  • Monitoring volumes and achieving team targets
  • Supporting reporting of daily figures and workflow management
  • Showing initiative to process urgent requests and taking ownership of outstanding queries

The ideal candidate will have:

  • AAT part/fully qualified or equivalent level of qualification
  • Experience of leading a team within a high-volume transactional processing function
  • Good working knowledge of invoice processing and experience in supporting team members
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload

Sanctuary Group offers a competitive salary of £25,944, plus an additional policy allowance of £2,594 per annum. The company is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, with a range of benefits including:
