We are currently looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Leader to become part of our Power & Controls Strategic Business Unit at Collins Aerospace.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Value Stream Leader, the Quality Assurance Leader will oversee quality-related aspects within the Value Stream and assist in daily operations to ensure adherence to standards. The ideal candidate will possess experience in an Aerospace Aftermarket Part 145 certified environment and familiarity with Aerospace quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with product and process standards within the Value Stream Develop solutions for product-related issues Offer quality support to customers, including reporting and communication Provide quality support to suppliers, including reporting and communication Address internal and supplier product challenges and unit holds Conduct Quality Clinic investigations with due diligence and thoroughness Lead initiatives for process enhancement to minimize unit holds (both in quantity and duration) Ensure that quality requirements for new projects and scope modifications are fulfilled within the necessary timelines for the Value Stream and broader organization Plan, lead, and implement improvement initiatives Collaborate with all other functions at the site and support daily operations through a structured meeting process Establish performance metrics and a governance framework to ensure achievement of business and departmental objectives Assist in the internal and external audit processes

Basic Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Practical mindset with a knack for finding compliant solutions Experience in problem-solving Ability to interpret policies and technical documents, including engineering schematics Multi-disciplinary knowledge with a foundational understanding of hydro-mechanical and electronic systems Familiarity with AS91XX series standards Experience with specialized computer-based record systems and tools, including SAP, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Strong character with the capability to make decisions under pressure Organized, disciplined, and proactive work approach Lead small cross-functional teams to execute projects and improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant experience in the Aerospace sector, particularly Part 145 Skills in Lean methodologies and problem-solving Auditing certification from a recognized organization Experience in Project Management
