Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

Purosearch Ltd is seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead and ensure the highest standards of care in a family-run care home provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to their residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
  2. Lead, mentor, and support the care team to provide exceptional care tailored to individual resident needs.
  3. Develop and implement care plans that promote residents' well-being and independence.
  4. Drive occupancy levels through effective marketing strategies and community engagement.
  5. Maintain high standards of care and support during inspections and audits.
  6. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  7. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to ensure the sustainability of the care home.
  8. Stay updated on best practices in dementia care and integrate them into our service delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Care Home Manager or similar role, ideally within a medium-sized care home.
  2. In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and experience achieving Good or Outstanding reports.
  3. Experience in dementia care and an understanding of its unique challenges.
  4. Demonstrated success in increasing occupancy rates and marketing care services.
  5. Commissioning experience is a plus.
  6. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  7. Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management).
