About the Role
The University of Leicester's Leicester Lifestyle Health and Research Group (LLHRG) is expanding, seeking leaders in the field to contribute to its success in the Research Excellent Framework (REF). This expansion has led to £14 million in new funding, enabling LLHRG to add 20 new staff members and 12 new PhD students.
As part of the Diabetes Research Centre (DRC) and NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre, LLHRG investigates how 24-hour lifestyle behaviors can be optimized to prevent and manage obesity and long-term conditions, such as type 2 diabetes.
About You
We are looking for emerging research leaders to join the team as Associate Professor of Lifestyle as Medicine. We welcome applications from experts in exercise physiology, mHealth, implementation science, multiple long-term conditions, physiotherapy, or clinical trials.
