About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor to join our Lifestyle as Medicine research group at the University of Leicester. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and success of our research, playing a crucial role in advancing our understanding of lifestyle behaviors and their impact on health.

With a strong background in exercise physiology, mHealth, implementation science, multiple long-term conditions, physiotherapy, or clinical trials, you will be responsible for leading research projects, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve our research goals.

About the Team

Our Lifestyle as Medicine research group is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that is part of the Diabetes Research Centre and NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre. We have a diverse research portfolio that investigates how lifestyle behaviors can be optimized to prevent and manage obesity and long-term conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, in multi-ethnic populations.
