About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor to join our Lifestyle as Medicine research group at the University of Leicester. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and success of our research, playing a crucial role in advancing our understanding of lifestyle behaviors and their impact on health.

With a strong background in exercise physiology, mHealth, implementation science, or a related field, you will be responsible for designing and conducting research studies, collaborating with colleagues, and mentoring students. Your expertise will help us drive innovation and excellence in our research, ultimately improving the lives of individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct research studies to investigate lifestyle behaviors and their impact on health
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects
  • Mentor students and early-career researchers
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and funding applications
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher with a strong track record of publication and a proven ability to secure funding. You will have a PhD in a relevant field and a strong background in exercise physiology, mHealth, implementation science, or a related area. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
