Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Therapist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and psychological therapy to clients with complex mental health needs, including those with a history of trauma.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and appropriate professional registration. They will also have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification NHS experience of working as a psychological therapist with adult clients with complex psychological problems.

The role will involve working collaboratively with GPs, other clinicians, and external stakeholders to provide a specialist psychological therapy service to clients with complex mental health problems. The successful candidate will also have the ability to supervise, mentor, and support staff.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and appropriate professional registration. They will also have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification NHS experience of working as a psychological therapist with adult clients with complex psychological problems.

The desirable criteria include additional psychotherapy qualifications, such as EMDR or DBT, and relevant supervision qualifications.
