About the Role:

Ballymore, a leading property developer, is seeking a skilled Yard Person to join their prestigious site. As a key member of the Estate Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the external grounds and building exteriors to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the external grounds and building exteriors are well-maintained and visually appealing at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Estate Team to maintain the company's policies, rules, and quality standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring the necessary signs are displayed and procedures are followed.
  • Perform tasks such as watering plants, cleaning external paths, roads, and gardens, and removing litter and cigarette ends.
  • Remove cobwebs from rails, benches, fencing, and door canopies, and clean and polish steel fittings.
  • Clean and disinfect bin rooms, remove deposited items, and apply degreaser as required.
  • Pressure wash as needed, and ensure water features are free from leaves and rubbish.
  • Maintain car park areas, ensuring they are clean, litter-free, and degreaser is applied as required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures when using chemicals and equipment.
  • Clean all areas and vertical surfaces as per schedule and specification.
  • Water landscaping as directed by the Line Manager, and perform lower-level window cleaning as required.
  • Attend meetings with the Line Manager and working colleagues, and report any damage or defects immediately.
  • Ensure equipment is kept in good working order, and report any faults to the manager.
  • Report maintenance issues, including light bulbs and trip hazards, to the Line Manager.
  • Assist with other tasks or duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Yard Person/Cleaner in residential developments (desirable).
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
