Chartered Building Surveyor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Infrastructure division, you will be responsible for delivering a full suite of Building Surveying services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide a range of building surveying and project management duties across various projects and sectors.
- Assist in the development of new and repeat business across all sectors.
- Manage client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
- Apply standard forms of building contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
- Stay up-to-date with industry issues and best practices.
- Manage teams and deliver commissions under framework agreements.
- Undertake building surveys, produce professional reports and specifications, and analyze defects.
- Understand quality, safety, and environmental principles in project management.
- Deliver pre- and post-contract project management services.
Requirements
- BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Good all-round surveying experience.
- Experience in pre- and post-contract project management.
- Excellent team working skills and communication abilities.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Liaise with senior colleagues to build a profitable service and positive team environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM systems is an advantage.
- Mentoring of APC graduates.
- Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
