Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Production Support Specialist to join our team at Collabera Digital. As a key member of our IT service delivery team, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving production incidents, managing problem tickets, and working closely with development teams to ensure seamless application support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Identify and resolve production incidents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients and partners.
  • Problem Management: Manage problem tickets from identification to resolution, working closely with development teams to determine root cause and implement permanent fixes.
  • Capacity and Performance Management: Monitor and manage application capacity and performance, ensuring optimal system utilization and responsiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business and operations partners to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and prioritize defect fixes and enhancements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for audits, working closely with development teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience in production support, ITIL, release support, technical implementations, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, navigate ambiguity, and quickly establish credibility among technical peers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Proven knowledge in Java/J2EE, server-side technologies, middleware components, operating systems, and database technologies.
  • Strong operating system knowledge in Unix and Windows, including strong scripting skills.
  • Experience with database technologies, event-driven and schedule-driven batch processes, and monitoring/scheduling tools.
  • Ability to work closely with technology infrastructure teams, development and testing teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless application support.
