To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a minimum of three months of paid experience in the UK within a support worker environment, delivering advice, guidance, and assistance to vulnerable populations.
The role entails working two overnight shifts per week, preferably on Fridays and Saturdays. Each shift spans 16 hours, commencing at 4:30 PM and concluding at midnight, followed by overnight rest on-site. Compensation covers the entire 16-hour period from 4 PM to 8:30 AM the following day, despite the overnight rest period.
Additionally, the role is structured as a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, where the initial 12 weeks will be under Dutton Recruitment, transitioning to a permanent position with the organization after successful completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the health, safety, and operational efficiency of the facility and its residents.
- Participating in the selection process for prospective residents.
- Managing financial transactions, including collecting and recording service charges.
- Monitoring rent payments and service charges.
- Assisting with housing benefit applications and relevant tenancy documentation for new residents.
- Conducting welfare checks to ensure the well-being of occupants.
