Flexibility in scheduling is crucial, as the role requires availability during weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays, with a minimum commitment of 23 hours per week for part-time positions.

No previous experience in healthcare is necessary; however, a strong desire to learn and develop is essential. Key qualifications include:

  • Maths: GCSEs Grade C/4, Functional Skills Level 2, or equivalent
  • English: GCSEs Grade C/4, Functional Skills Level 2
  • Level 3 qualification: Full NVQ Level 3/BTEC or equivalent 'A' levels

Progression towards a registered nurse position is facilitated through apprenticeships while gaining practical experience. Trainees will work towards achieving the competencies required for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) role.

In your capacity as a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide essential assistance with patient care, uphold hygiene standards, offer emotional support, and engage in various tasks. This training position equips you to monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient conditions, and perform clinical responsibilities.
