Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatient team at Spire Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and users in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Outpatient team in providing exemplary patient care, including supporting and monitoring patients, and identifying and reporting any significant changes that may affect their health and well-being.
  • Contribute to the movement of patients in line with hospital policies, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow.
  • Work collaboratively with the qualified nursing staff to provide a comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in taking ECGs, blood pressures, and patient observations.
