As a Community Bank, Inner East Community Finance Ltd operates in partnership with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, with branches in various locations. The company returns up to 60 per cent of its profits back to the local community through its Community Investment Program (sponsorships and grants). This program fosters collaboration and builds long-term partnerships that create impact in the community.

The position is integral to fostering a strong connection between the company and the community it supports. The Marketing Coordinator will manage the company's digital channels, including content production, community engagement, scheduling, and analytics. You will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content to promote the Community Investment Program and content to tell the story of the impact the company's support has on the community.

This is a three-day a week role with flexibility. The company offers flexible working hours and a hybrid work-from-home and office-based structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's social media and digital channels, including content production, community engagement, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Craft compelling and engaging content to promote the Community Investment Program and content to tell the story of the impact the company's support has on the community.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline.
  • 1+ years of marketing experience.
  • Social media management experience, including advertising, reporting, and analytics.
  • Creative flair for content creation.
  • Proficiency in using digital mailing platforms, preferably MailChimp, including analytic tools.
  • Experience with content management systems, preferably WordPress.
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Both an autonomous and collaborative working ability.
