About the Role:

Your Mortgage Recruiter Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Administrator to join their team in their City of London office. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the brokers and ensuring the smooth progress of mortgage applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keying mortgage applications into various lenders' systems
  • Providing administrative support to the brokers
  • Managing the client service experience through to completion, including communication with clients, lenders, and solicitors
  • Detailing all conversations and actions taken in the CRM system
  • Gathering original documents from clients, as required by the lenders
  • Uploading documents onto the system within the required compliance timescales
  • Scanning file documents onto the system and ensuring the final file meets the required compliance standards
  • Ensuring all work meets the required FCA compliance standards
  • Contacting existing clients to review their circumstances and products
  • Assisting the team with any other duties, as reasonably requested

Requirements:

  • Mortgage administration experience gained within the independent market, ensuring familiarity with multiple lenders' mortgage products and online portals/platforms
  • Excellent English written skills and telephone manner, with experience in dealing with diverse client backgrounds
  • Technical ability and confidence with mortgage terminology
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and time management skills, prioritizing cases through to completion
  • Desire to progress in a professional and growing business

What We Offer:

  • Competitive basic salary of up to circa £33,000, negotiable based on skill-set/role experience
  • Pension scheme and benefits, including a bonus scheme based on the business' performance
  • Quarterly bonuses equating to an additional 10% to 20% of annual salary
  • Company Christmas bonus worth £2,000 each year
  • Possible first-year OTE of up to £42,000 within this role
