About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer to join our team at Capital on Tap. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our risk strategy, ensuring the optimal management of risk across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Risk Strategy: Establish and maintain a robust risk management framework, ensuring that risk is properly identified, assessed, and mitigated.
  • Lead Risk Management Functions: Oversee the development and implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and Report Risk: Provide regular risk reports to the Board and senior management, highlighting key risk areas and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with commercial, product, and data science teams to ensure that risk is properly integrated into business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience in Risk Management: Proven experience in risk management, with a strong understanding of credit risk, fraud risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, with a strong focus on developing and retaining talent.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex risk issues.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
