About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Risk Officer to join our team at HFG. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the operational management of our group risk management team and the group risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Risk Management: Oversee the development and implementation of our risk management framework, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives.
  • Risk Appetite and Key Risk Indicators: Develop and maintain our risk appetite and key risk indicator frameworks, providing strategic guidance to the business.
  • Own Risk and Solvency Assessment: Lead the preparation of our Own Risk and Solvency Assessment reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Team Development: Support the growth and development of our risk management team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior members.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Provide strategic risk management support and advice to major business initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with our risk management framework.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide proactive risk management advice to the business.
