Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and safety data.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment and facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities management and engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
