Join NELFT NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialty Doctor in our Community CAMHS Learning Disability service. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to provide senior medical support to our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.
About the Role:We are looking for a Specialty Doctor who can work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Kent. The successful candidate will be expected to provide senior medical support to the team, direct input on clinical cases, and guidance and supervision to junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to children and young people with mental health needs.
- Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues.
- Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
- Develop links with local acute trusts' A&E departments and inpatient wards.
- Offer clinical supervision and teaching to core trainees on placement.
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
- Demonstrate that your values are in line with NELFT's values.
