About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, including recruitment, stock control, and store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager
- Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, inspiring your team and creating a fantastic place to shop and work
- Maximize sales and performance across all primary KPIs
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's management experience in the retail sector
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Passionate about retail and delivering high standards and great results
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
