Job Title: Head of Global Wordings

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Global Wordings team. As Head of Global Wordings, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of wordings strategies across all three Business Units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Litigation, Wordings and Employment Law to set the vision for Wordings at AXA XL and drive its implementation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other Legal functions to ensure consistency of advice and efficiency of service.
  • Take the lead on significant wordings-related initiatives and projects, working effectively with other business functions.
  • Ensure the Wordings team embraces AI technology to improve efficiency and quality of service.
  • Coordinate central resources and manage demand to meet Wordings' SLAs.
  • Establish formal working relationships between Wordings, Legal, Claims, and Litigation teams.
  • Work closely with Underwriting and GCUO to develop and implement procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure awareness of applicable standards and communicate market/regulatory changes.
  • Responsible for coaching, developing, and motivating direct reports.
