Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist in West Yorkshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve their goals and live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals in our care homes, maximizing their independence and empowering them to live their best lives.
- Lead and supervise junior therapists or therapy assistants to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality therapy and rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team and clinical team to create person-centred care plans, support individuals to achieve their goals, and evaluate their outcomes.
- Carry out assessments, maintain accurate records, and promote choice, dignity, and independence.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about occupational therapy and has a positive, can-do attitude. You will have a thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice, excellent leadership skills, and a kind and caring approach. You will also have great listening and communication skills, creative thinking, and organizational skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
