Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to service users.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective delivery of services.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services and the achievement of organizational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Proven experience of working in a forensic mental health setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of service users and their families.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, service users, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including extended hours, to meet the needs of the service and the team.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- RMN/RN Mental Health or DipSW/CQSW/CSS or OT qualification.
- Relevant graduate qualification or equivalent.
- Mentorship qualification or equivalent.
- Practice Placement Educator qualification.
