Make a Positive Impact on Young Lives

Wokingham Borough Council is seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Children's Residential Support Workers. As a key member of our residential children's home, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and support their emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the Homes Manager to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support.
  • Support residents in achieving their goals and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Participate in shift work, including weekends, overnights, and bank holidays.

Candidate Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex emotional needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
