Residential Child Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Support Worker to join our team at AWD online. As a Residential Child Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a professional, child-centred service in a brand-new residential children's home.
Your duties will include taking on the role of a corporate parent, providing children and young people with love and direction, connecting with and building meaningful relationships with children and young people who have had complex early lives, and taking immediate action when the welfare or safety of children or young people is at risk.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a professional qualification in QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, and the ability to engage with children and teenagers who have complex emotional needs. Previous experience in Social Care is desirable but not essential.
